The inaugural Northwest Florida Expo for Disabilities and Exceptional Needs (EDEN) will connect the disability and exceptional needs community to local nonprofit organizations, small business, and national companies that provide services or innovative products.

About the event
WHY NORTHWEST FLORIDA?
This area is home to Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Hurlburt Field, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Duke Field, and NAS Whiting Field representing three services branches (Army, Navy, and Air Force). There are roughly 2,000 exceptional needs active-duty families assigned to these installations. In addition to these active-duty families, there is a large, retired military community. Additionally, Okaloosa public school district has one of the highest military-affiliated student populations in the state of Florida.
MAA’s mission is focused on the military-connected community, but this event will not be exclusive to that group. NWF EDEN 2025 is also available to the civilian disability and exceptional needs community. We believe the military exceptional needs community is most able to thrive when we have strong friendships and partnerships with our civilian neighbors.
